As debate continues in the United States over whether military stockpiles are running low, Donald Trump issued a new statement highlighting the strength of the American defense industry. Trump said weapons production is continuing at an intense pace, new facilities are being built and military equipment is being delivered regularly to US forces in the Middle East.

Trump said he had received a report indicating that the United States is producing what he described as the most advanced and sophisticated weapons in its history.
He said defense industry plants are operating around the clock and that major new production facilities are also under construction.
Trump added that production is focused particularly on systems including Patriot, THAAD and Tomahawk missiles, while arguing that the US already holds significant quantities of these weapons in its stockpiles.
Trump comments on the Strait of Hormuz and oil flows
Trump also addressed tensions involving Iran around the Strait of Hormuz, saying oil continued to flow through the strategic waterway.
He argued that once the conflict ends, countries that have benefited from US actions should compensate Washington, claiming that the United States is acting not only for itself but also for others.
Trump claims Iran wants a deal
Trump also alleged that Tehran is seeking an agreement with the United States. Describing Iran as a “failed state,” Trump said he would ultimately decide whether Washington joins any potential agreement, while adding that the US remains open to the idea.
